YouSendIt Acquires Email Collaboration and E-Signature Companies

Attassa and Zosh bring collaboration, Microsoft Windows integration and e-signature expertise to YouSendIt

January 5, 2011 — Campbell, Calif – YouSendIt, the global leader in secure digital content delivery, today announced the acquisitions of Attassa, an email collaboration pioneer, and Zosh, an innovative e-signature provider, for undisclosed amounts. Through the two acquisitions YouSendIt gains the technology and personnel of the companies.

Founded in 2007, Attassa built a framework and a software development kit (SDK) that allows the rich integration of existing Web applications into Microsoft Windows and Outlook. Through the SDKs, Attassa created a series of file-sharing, synchronization and backup utilities for Outlook. Additionally, Attassa developed the All My Mail application for the iPhone, which synchronized users' email from Outlook and Webmail servers.

Zosh provides innovative mobile e-signature services, allowing users to complete, sign and transmit documents via a mobile phone. Zosh's intuitive sign-with-your-finger signature tool eliminates the complicated steps of other e-signature and traditional sign-and-fax solutions and makes it easy to fill in and sign any document on the go. Launched in March, 2010 the company won the DEMOgod award at DEMO Spring 2010 for the Mobile category.
